The final swing of the pendulum

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

I have often spoken in my works about the pendulum.

The pendulum is important because it is one of the few things that has been here since the beginning of time.

The pendulum always waits quietly. Through times of war, of dynasties destroyed, monarchies vanquished, still, the pendulum is there.

And it has always been the subject of much anxiety as kings and soldiers, and former presidents wait anxiously to see see in which direction it will swing.

And for one former President — Donald Trump — the final swing of the pendulum has occurred.

This is the swing that tells the world who and what we have lived with these last few years.

And the answer the pendulum gave — with the release of the DOJ affidavit and the information contained within — is that of a traitor.

A traitor who feels nothing for America. That is obvious. Nobody who loves our country would obviously treat such delicate and sensitive information in the casual way that Trump has.

He might have been holding on to a jar of cookies for all the care he gave these documents.

Trump put human lives in danger. He held secrets so highly confidential that he is now being investigated for espionage.

Think of his cowardice and hold it against the bright lights of our FBI, CIA, and all who work for the DOJ and love our country with deep passion.

Yes, the pendulum has swung away from Donald Trump. Trump may have thought he would be in a position of power forever. He attempted to buck justice and the pendulum, buck the norms which govern our beautiful America, which any (normal) American loves fiercely.

The pendulum will be around for eternity. But for Donald Trump, his days of watching the pendulum swing are done. It’s done its final swing — away from the traitor, away from evil. And now, the only thing that awaits him is prison.
