The Feds are now one step from Roger Stone’s and Alex Jones’ doorstep

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

When Reuters published an article yesterday morning claiming that Alex Jones and Roger Stone were off the hook in the January 6th attack, I wrote that the article felt “a lot like every bullshit article that defense lawyers manage to plant in the media shortly before indictments start coming down.” Sure enough, last night, the Feds criminally indicted Alex Jones’ top sidekick Owen Shroyer for his role in the January 6th attack.

No, I don’t have inside information. I don’t need it to see stuff like this coming. Whenever the mainstream media publishes a suspicious article like this, it’s usually because the people benefiting from the article knew something was about to happen, and decided to pull strings to create a last ditch false narrative. In this case, Stone and Jones benefit from the false appearance that the indictment of Shroyer somehow isn’t going to ensnare them. But in reality, nothing works that way.

Maybe Shroyer is loyal enough to do prison time to protect Alex Jones. But if that’s not the case, then Shroyer’s get out of jail free card will be to provide testimony and communications that prove Stone instructed or incited him to participate in the January 6th attack. So at this point we’re one plea deal away from Alex Jones going down.

Of course that could take days, or it could take months, or it could take forever, depending on if and when Shroyer figures out that he’s going to have to flip on Jones. But the point is that the Feds are now one step away from Jones. If they can get Jones, he’d likely be asked to flip on Roger Stone. And if Jones does flip on Stone, then Stone would be asked to flip on Donald Trump.

This is the only way that these kinds of multi-layered criminal investigations play out. You can’t just start off by arresting the big dogs who called the shots, because you won’t be able to convict the big dogs until you’ve secured the cooperating testimony of some of their henchmen. And if the big dogs are acquitted by a jury, it would just embolden them even more.

The January 6th criminal probe was always going to go through this many steps and layers to get to the people at the top. It was never going to be quick. But this latest indictment places the probe one step from Alex Jones’ doorstep. That means it’s two or maybe three steps away from Donald Trump’s doorstep. We’re getting there.
