The Fab Five just came together

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

For quite some time now, Palmer Report has been urging all of you to focus your activism efforts on the most highly competitive midterm races. That list has included the five Democratic Senate candidates with the most realistic chance of flipping seats. Now those five candidates have banded together.

Democratic Senate candidate Cheri Beasley, who is running in North Carolina, put it best: “A 50/50 Senate is not cutting it. That’s why I’m joining forces with Mandela Barnes, Tim Ryan, Val Demings, and John Fetterman to launch the Flippable Five Fund. Because our races are Democrats’ best chance to pick up seats this November and bring change to Washington.”

Beasley went on to add: “If we want to end the filibuster and codify Roe, we need to expand our majority. If we want to lower costs and make progress on climate and voting rights, we need to expand our majority. Can you rush a donation to the Flippable Five Fund now?”

This is just perfect. It allows all five of these candidates to present themselves jointly to political activists around the nation whose goal is to expand the Senate. All five of these Democratic candidates are high quality, and – crucially – they’re all in highly winnable races. Go here to donate to the Flippable Five Fund.
