The Extreme Court strikes again

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

If anyone thought the Supreme Court might be taking a break from their ongoing insanity, they would be very wrong. Proving their lunacy is as on point as ever, the Court struck another blow to Biden’s administration. Only this time, it was a curious ruling.

Immigration was the subject at hand. The question was: Can a lower court’s ruling prohibiting Homeland Security from putting a deportation policy in place be allowed to stand until oral arguments come later on this year?

Why yes, it can. The Court ruled cheerfully with no explanation. But it was curious who was in the MINORITY. All FIVE of the men on the Court were in the majority. But the women dissented, including the newest Court member, Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson and surprisingly including Justice Amy Coney Barrett.

This was Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson’s first ruling since she started her work on the Court. What is interesting here is the male/female breakdown because it was all the men in the majority and all the women in the minority.

One would hope this doesn’t become a regular thing. It would be very sad if this Court began to break down rulings along gender lines. With the three liberals being all female, it wouldn’t be that much of a surprise.

And the extreme Court is continuing to do ever so much damage to this country. It’s an issue we must keep front and center. It’s an issue that we must fix when we win in November.
