The Extreme Court is at it again
I cannot even describe how deeply pissed off the anti-choice movement is now. With the Supreme Court’s decision, they are apparently angrier than ever. And many of them say they haven’t begun to fight. I believe them. These people will not be satisfied until the whole country lives as they would like. That is not happening.
In the meantime, we need to keep our eyes wide open. Yes, we scored a temporary victory, but the issue has a long way to go to being received. Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito were the dissenters, undoubtedly pleasing their antichoice overlords. I suspect each had different reasons for their dissent.
Now this is an opinion piece, so I don’t know for sure, but do you get the feeling, friends and readers, that Clarence Thomas just likes pissing off liberals? I do. See, I never really believed Thomas was THAT conservative. He’s never gotten over the Anita Hill accusations, and with a guy like Clarence, I suspect vengeance is in his mind. And I also suspect he is hopping mad that he is once again in the spotlight (for being a liar.)
In Sammy-boy’s case, I think he believes the crap he says. I’d say Sammy came from central casting if I didn’t know better. He is the epitome of a caricature, the embodiment of the grumbling, cranky old white guy who probably chases squirrels off his property.
Alito’s a thin-skinned creep, but unlike Thomas, I suspect he does harbor those crazed beliefs. As for the rest of the court, I suspect this may have been a bridge too far, even for them. In the meantime, reportedly, some in the antichoice movement are pretty angry at Donald John Trump.
That’s because Trump hasn’t committed to an abortion ban yet, and some of the antichoicers, refuse to back his run for president until he does. How hilarious is that? Donald Trump might be too LIBERAL for this group! In the meantime, this won’t stop. This is why we have to win every election in the future.
