The Extreme Court

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

What will the Extreme Court do? These nine Justices have a long road ahead. They will have to decide on a number of cases coming up concerning Donald Trump. How will they handle things? Will they rise to the occasion?

I personally have not one iota of respect for the extreme Court. But I do think some arguments will turn out in our favor. After all, they have to be looking toward the future. What I mean by that is that when (when, not if!) President Biden wins reelection, he can look at court reform, assuming we win the House and keep the Senate, which we will.

Term limits. Adding Justices. There are a plethora of things Biden can look at. And I believe he WILL look at some of all of these things. Lately, the Extreme Court has been under a microscope. The greed of Clarence Thomas has been showcased. And both Alito and Thomas are getting up in age. I would not be surprised if one or both of them were to retire in the next few years.

I do not believe the Colorado ruling will be in our favor. I do think the Supreme Court will let Trump be on the ballot there. And I do think they will take that case. Now — the Court has just rejected Jack Smith’s request to immediately rule on presidential immunity. I had a feeling they would. After all — Donald Trump is really starting to jump on their judicial calendar. They do not want their whole caseload to be about him.

But eventually, they may take it on, and I do not see how they can not rule in our favor on that one. Trump will continue filing appeals and trying to bring cases to the extreme Court. He seems to think that because he put three of them on the bench, they’re indebted to him.

I doubt that they are. I doubt it because these six conservatives have shown they do not give much of a damn about anybody, including Trump. They have their OWN agenda, and I highly doubt most of them (maybe Thomas) think of Donald Trump on a daily or even a weekly basis.
