The end of Lindsey Graham

Dear Palmer Report readers,

We all understand what a dark era we're heading into. Journalists will be prosecuted. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. Advertising networks can't be counted on. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight, because someone has to.

In that regard we're looking to start funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens or how dark things get. We've launched a reader supported fund, and we've already raised $3360 and counting. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can contribute here. Thank you in advance.
Sincerely,
Bill Palmer
Palmer Report

– Donald Trump has a long history of convincing his underlings that they’re invincible, goading them into committing crimes that help him, and then hanging them out to dry when they get caught. By next week, Trump will be insisting that Lindsey Graham was just the coffee boy.

– Keep in mind that Georgia’s Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger isn’t some naive rube. In his position, he knows better than anyone that by going public with the fact that Lindsey Graham tried to pressure him into rigging the election for Trump, it means the post-Trump DOJ will likely end up interviewing Raffensperger about Graham’s actions, and that Raffensperger could end up testifying at Graham’s trial. Raffensperger has clearly decided that he’s okay with things going in that direction for him. Nor would he have made such an accusation if it weren’t true, considering he’ll likely end up having to talk about it under oath.

– We’re still no closer to resolving the debate about whether Lindsey Graham is being blackmailed into behaving this way or whether he’s just clinically insane, are we?
