The elephant in the room
The Trump team has a problem. That problem pertains, of course, to abortion. The issue is the following: Lately, Trump and his sidekick Vance have been lying to the American people, insisting they won’t put in place a national abortion ban.
Now — we KNOW they are lying. But what are they supposed to say? They certainly can’t say: “Yes, we hate women. We don’t give a damn about their reproductive freedom. Yes, we will proudly steal their rights and then not give a damn because we’re sociopathic and have no consciences.
No, they most certainly can’t say THAT. But the Trump/Vance ticket made a big error. They forgot about the elephant in the room. Their own voters. See, anti-choice people are ENRAGED about Vance going on Meet the Press and stating — no abortion bans. Apparently, SOMEONE does believe them, and it’s their own voters
So now multiple anti-choice groups are QUAKING with Fury and are letting Donald Trump and JD Vance know that they might pull support. What a mess! What a vicious cycle. They’re damned if they do and damned if they don’t.
Now — these two scarecrows will likely NEVER come out and admit the truth. There is simply too much to lose. You’ve seen the polls. You know most people do not WANT a national abortion ban. Only the problem is his alt-right voters DO want it. And that’s ALL they want. That is the whole damn reason some of them are supporting Trump.
So, what does the dynamic duel intend to do about this issue? This abortion issue is an ugly duckling that will not — cannot — won’t EVER — turn into a lovely swan no matter how fervently Trump and Vance wish that it would. They’re going to have to do something because this is shaping upu to be a nightmare for them otherwise.
