The DOJ now has at least three separate grand jury investigations into Donald Trump (that we know of)

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. On Monday, the news broke that the DOJ has sent grand jury subpoenas to the leaders of the investment firm that’s seeking to acquire Donald Trump’s failed social network Truth Social. Even as some ill-informed observers are thinking “Finally, the DOJ is investigating Trump,” the reality is that this is one of at least three separate grand jury investigations that the DOJ has going into Trump.

Months ago, multiple major newspapers reported that the DOJ has had a January 6th grand jury targeting Trump world since at least January. That DOJ grand jury carried out warrants against top Trump henchmen John Eastman and Jeffrey Clark last week, making clear that this isn’t just a probe into Trump world, it’s a probe targeting Trump himself.

Additionally, when Congress tried to obtain evidence months ago about Donald Trump having taken classified documents with him when he left office, the DOJ replied with a letter – which ended up going public – revealing that the DOJ was investigating the matter. Then, six weeks ago, the news broke that the DOJ probe had reached the grand jury stage.

Back when it was first reported that the DOJ had at least two different criminal probes going against Donald Trump, we pointed out that each of them had only become public knowledge because someone outside of the DOJ happened to intersect with the probes and went public about them. At the time, we pointed out that this actually pointed to the likelihood of more than just two DOJ probes into Trump, because if these two were uncovered at random, there are probably several more that haven’t been randomly tripped over yet.

Now that the DOJ probe into Trump’s social network has reached the stage where subpoena targets are complaining about it to the media, we have confirmation that there are at least three distinct DOJ probes into Donald Trump. We’re guessing there are more than that, and that they’ll keep surfacing as they keep moving forward.

In any case, each time the mainstream media exposes one of these DOJ probes into Trump, the story lasts for about a day, before the media goes right back to chasing ratings by pushing narratives like “the DOJ is doing nothing” and “Will the DOJ end up investigating Trump?” The media can’t keep playing both sides like this. Trump is under DOJ investigation, on multiple fronts, and has been for at least five months and counting.
