The dead giveaway that Donald Trump’s final election lawsuit isn’t going anywhere
Even though the Texas lawsuit attempting to invalidate the election reads like it was written in crayon and has literally zero chance of succeeding, 106 House Republicans have now signed onto it. So is it going somewhere now? Still no – and in fact their decision to sign onto it is proof that it’s not going anywhere.
If the Supreme Court were to rule that the 2020 election was invalid due to imaginary fraud, then the entire election would be invalid, as Palmer Report’s friend Stacey Prussman just pointed out. Those 106 House Republicans, who were just reelected, would also have their victories thrown out. There would presumably have to be a whole new 2020 election from top to bottom, and some of those House Republicans who won by narrow margins would be in danger of losing their seats in the replacement election.
Obviously, none of these House Republicans would sign onto this suit if they thought there was any chance whatsoever that it would actually succeed. This proves that they know it has a 0.0% chance of succeeding. They’ve simply signed into it to try to score cheap partisan points with the Trump supporters in their districts.
