The countdown begins

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

It’s a countdown now. It’s a countdown toward the day President Biden announces the name of the next Supreme Court Justice. Who will it be? People are buzzing. And pundits are working overtime to try and make President Biden look as bad as possible.

Only it isn’t working. And the new poll that’s come out tells a more accurate story than the pundits ever could. Per Newsweek, it appears the American people are excited about Biden’s choice. This poll by the Economist/YouGov finds that 53 percent of people polled support the nomination of a black woman.

The number opposing was at 25 percent. And 22 percent were neutral, having no strong feelings about it one way or the other. The poll surveyed 1,500 adults and had a margin of error of +/-3 percent. What does this poll tell us?

It tells us that the American people are all aboard. And contrary to the spin many pundits have been trying to give the nomination, it shows that only a small percentage of people are vehemently against it.

So next time you see indignant pundits trying to spin the fake news wheel, take a deep breath and laugh. Because we know the truth. President Biden’s nominee will be revealed soon, and she will take our breath away with her radiance. And she will be confirmed. AND the American people WANT her confirmed.

It shouldn’t be a surprise. This is, after all, America. And we, the American people — the majority of us –enjoy diversity. We also love Presidents set to make history — a great and vibrant history which will, under President Biden happen very soon.
