Democratic Congressman dismantles Donald Trump for his “brain fart presidency”
House Democrats are still working their way through the court battles over evidence and testimony required to put on the kind of compelling televised impeachment hearings that could sink Donald Trump. In the meantime, they’re left primarily with their own words when it comes to turning public opinion further against Trump and derailing his agenda.
To that end, we’re seeing various House Democrats becoming more comfortable with being far more direct when it comes to calling out Donald Trump’s presidency for what it is. There’s a perception among nonpartisan Americans in the middle that neither side should speak too unprofessionally about the other, no matter what happens. But in a sign that mainstream America truly has had enough of Trump’s catastrophic idiocy, we’re seeing an increasing number of House Democrats describing Trump in the same terms that, well, Palmer Report would tend to use.
For instance, normally mild mannered Democratic Congressman John Yarmuth has announced that we are “deep in the throes of a Brain Fart presidency.” This comes after House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff openly mocked Trump for not understanding how national emergency powers actually work.
Words alone aren’t going to take Donald Trump down. But if nothing else, this is the latest sign that average Americans are so over this toxic clown, everyone outside his deranged base feels comfortable openly mocking him in increasingly blatant fashion.
