The blue fire

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

We’ve been through a lot these last few years. And so many of you ask for positive articles. And I have one. This article is about the fire going on. The fire of blue — the blue fire. Bright blue it is and going on in: Georgia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Ohio, EVERYWHERE!

It gives me so much pleasure to tell you that more than 21 million early ballots have been cast as of now. It’s more than a fire – it’s a full-on explosion of blue. Now that is not to say some republicans have not voted. Of course, they have. But by and large, Democrats are outpacing republicans in the blue fire — by a lot.

In Pennsylvania, Democrats have increased their Pre-election vote from 2020. And many more Democrats have done early voting than Republicans. Georgia voting is through the roof. Florida has seen a huge jump in early voting, but republican early voting is relatively high there. Let’s go, Floridian Democrats!

In North Carolina, so far, early voting levels are higher than where they were in 2018 at this time. In Ohio, early votes cast in person are very high. As of the time of this writing, face-to-face, early voting is up by almost 45%.

So this shows good news! I cannot say readers how this will turn out. But it is very encouraging. You should be very encouraged as well, especially since it is your work that is making a difference. And if we keep on keeping on through election day, it looks like it will be a very good day for us all.
