The big overlap between the DOJ Trump probe and the Fulton County Trump probe

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

The DOJ and Fulton County DA have each been targeting fake electors as a way into Trump world. The DOJ has already carried out search and seizure warrants against multiple fake electors, along with fake elector plotters Eastman and Clark. The DA has sent target letters to fake electors, informing them they may be indicted, presumably to push them to flip on whoever in Trump world they coordinated with.

The strategy makes sense. Many of the fake electors are in way over their heads, and will flip if pressured. They can give up Trump’s top henchmen, who in turn can give up Trump himself.

In fact, given that the DOJ has obtained and carried out search and seizure warrants against Trump co-conspirators Eastman and Clark in the fake elector scheme, and that such warrants are not easy to obtain, you have to wonder if perhaps the DOJ has already flipped some of the fake electors.

This kind of overlap also leads to the question of whether the DOJ and the Fulton County DA could be coordinating with each other when it comes to Trump’s fake elector plot in Georgia. If they are, they surely wouldn’t tell the public about it until their probes are past the point where there would no longer be any strategic advantage in keeping it secret.
