Watching what Ron DeSantis has done and is doing to the state of Florida is like standing on a beach, watching an hourglass full of sand run low. DeSantis is so warped and his plans for Florida so very nefarious, that it’s been somewhat painful to watch as the governor continues on his merry quest to destroy the sunshine state.

Only a funny thing is happening, Readers — both funny and interesting. And it’s something that few except Palmer Report are reporting on. People are starting to turn on DeSantis. Now, this is not s surprise to us because we predicted it. The popularity that DeSantis has enjoyed is nearly impossible to keep for a prolonged level of time.

And so the hourglass is now running low for the popularity of DeSantis too. How do I know this? Because people are speaking out.

“Stop embarrassing Florida!!” This is from freelance reporter Jim Stinson who was speaking of the idiotic idea of a Florida state senator to require bloggers who write about DeSantis to have to register with the government. This absurd, illegal and pathetic idea mimics what Putin’s done and is unlawful. It won’t happen.

And people are calling the idea absurd. They’re viciously torching the idea and DeSantis for their hideous attempts to stop the free press. Even Newt Gingrich, one of the worst republicans of all time, waded into the fray calling this idea “embarrassing” and “insane.”

And the fact is DeSantis is dropping in the polls, and more and more people are speaking out about him. The DeSantis backlash has begun. This, my friends, is ALWAYS what happens. But it is happening a bit earlier than expected for DeSantis.

DeSantis is also traveling a bit to promote his horribly reviewed book. The other day in California, he was met by a crowd of about 100 protesters.

All of this brings home the point that this man is nowhere near ready for prime time. He looks stupider and stupider and is now being called out by some in his party. How embarrassing can it get for the Floridian idiot? I think there’s plenty more where that came from.
