The art of self sabotage

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Let’s say you were running for President of the United States. Let’s say you were informed that you were a little bit weak with female voters or male voters or African-American voters. Choose your Voter type! The point is you are way down among this group and you need to do something and do it quickly.

So you do. You proceed to label all the people you need to vote for you stupid and moronic. That’s an inventive way to get new voters I’m sure! It’s also what Donald Trump did just the other day. “All Rich, job creating people who support comrade Kamala Harris are stupid.”

What a lovely, lovely way to get votes! Label all the people you need to vote for you stupid I suppose it is not the worst thing he could’ve done . I mean – I can’t think of any worse things right now, but that doesn’t mean that they’re not there.

Trump said this on truth social. Of course, this amused a lot of people on social media and on message boards. “Does he have any idea what an idiot he is?” said one person I doubt that he does. The fact is in this political campaign in 2024, if there is something moronic to do and some disjointed way of campaigning, you can rest assured that Donald Trump will go ahead and do it. It seems making a fool out of himself on a daily, sometimes on an hourly basis is simply irresistible to him.
