Thanks, but no thanks. This polite refusal comes from Canadian MP Charlie Angus, who responded to Donald Trump’s pathetic entreaties to merge Canada with the United States. Angus posted on Blue-sky that it would not be happening. But he took it further and explained WHY it would not happen.

It is not just that Canada cherishes their independence, he explained. But also because: “Convicted sexual abusers don’t get to lead our nation. We ‘re decent folk.” My Gosh, this one post says it all. My how I wish had our MEDIA reacted to Donald Trump like that; we might be swearing in President Harris right now.

Finally, SOMEONE calls out the sexual abuser for who he is. When was the last time our media did that? When was the last time Trump’s sexual abuse was even MENTIONED by our own media? I have forgotten; it’s seemingly been so long.

“Canada has something called democracy,” Angus said in the same post. Now, this is the way that sane, common-sense individuals react to Donald Trump. With contempt. Contempt for a contemptuous person. This is how to do it.

The end of the post is worth mentioning as well. “PS: Button up. We’re sending frigid cold your way. Love Canada.” Much love to our Northern neighbors! You guys are angels in the snow for calling out the orange fleabag! I wish All of the people in OUR country had the same reaction.
