Texas Governor Greg Abbott just gave away how much trouble Donald Trump is in
We keep seeing poll numbers which suggest that Joe Biden and Donald Trump may be tied in traditionally red states like Georgia, South Carolina, and Texas – which would point to an electoral college landslide. But can we really expect a Democrat to win states that have been going so hard in a Republican direction for so many years?
Texas Governor Greg Abbott, a corruptly pro-Trump Republican, just gave away that the answer is a resounding “yes.” He just announced a new scheme in which each Texas county is limited to just one dropoff location for ballots. To be clear, this will be fought vigorously in court, and he’ll probably be defeated. But the point is this: you don’t resort to these kinds of tactics if you think you’re safely going to win.
In other words, Abbott and Team Trump really do fear that Joe Biden could pull off a win in Texas. Further, this means that the Republicans are afraid Democratic candidate MJ Hegar could defeat Republican Senator John Cornyn in Texas as well. You can support MJ Hegar’s campaign here.
