“Tell it to the judge” – House Democrat sticks it to Elon Musk after court order

Dear readers, we've just launched the Palmer Report 2025 Operating Expenses Fund. If we can fully fund this, it'll bridge the gap and ensure that Palmer Report can keep fighting now and forever. I'm asking you to contribute what you can to our PayPal Page or our GoFundMe Page, both of which accept debit and credit cards. Thank you.

Earlier today a federal judge issued a ruling barring Elon Musk from accessing any additional Treasury Department data and ordering him to destroy any data he’s accessed thus far. It was precisely the kind of ruling we were hoping for. And while Musk may not follow the order, he could end up in legal trouble (perhaps at the hands of state prosecutors) if he defies the order.

Of course Musk is too mentally incompetent to know what planet he’s on. So after House Democrat Dan Goldman pointed out on Twitter that Musk is legally required to confirm he’s followed the court order, Musk replied with “We don’t have any personal data of Americans, you corrupt moron.”

But Goldman ended up shutting down Musk by replying with “Tell it to the judge under oath.” Now the ball is in Musk’s court. Does he want to directly defy a court order and risk being criminally prosecuted by one or more state Attorneys General? Maybe he should just go back to designing terrible looking trucks.
