Donald Trump has complete meltdown in front of the television cameras after his Ukraine scandal explodes

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

This morning the Trump regime released a summary (not a transcript) of Donald Trump’s phone call with the president of Ukraine. It proves that Trump did in fact ask Ukraine to help him alter the outcome of the 2020 by targeting Joe Biden, after Trump had cut off funding to Ukraine. Apparently the Trump regime thought this summary would help Trump – but it’s widely being seen as a smoking gun.

Minutes after its release, Donald Trump spoke in front of the television cameras. He tried to address the summary, but he didn’t even seem to know what it was. “The letter was a great letter,” in apparent mistaken reference to the summary. He then said this about the phone call with the president of Ukraine: “It was gonna be the call from hell. It turned out to be a nothing call, other than a lot of people said ‘I never thought you could be so nice.”

Trump then began rambling about how the stock market was supposedly going way up today because investors saw the phone call summary and realized he’s innocent. Okay, sure, nice try. Then he began bragging about his nonexistent great poll numbers, before asserting that “you can add ten to it” for no apparent reason.

Either Donald Trump is completely delusional about what’s happening to him right now, or he’s putting on one heck of a brave face. Trump’s presidency is over. His life is over. He’ll spend the rest of it in solitary confinement.
