Ted Lieu slam dunks Tucker Carlson
Tucker Carlson, ever the gleeful white supremacist, once again used his Fox News show on Monday night to push racist rhetoric and lies about the current border situation. For Carlson, it’s merely yet another racist trope in a long line of racist tropes that make up his show.
Fortunately, Congressman Ted Lieu was on hand to take out the trash:
“We lead the world because, unique among nations, we draw our people — our strength — from every country and every corner of the world … If we ever closed the door to new Americans, our leadership in the world would soon be lost.”

That’s right, Ted Lieu was able to pick apart Tucker Carlson’s rhetoric by using a quote from Ronald Reagan, a Republican President. It’s a reminder that while the Republican Party has been in moral decline for generations, there was a time within our lifetime when Republicans were still vaguely pro-immigrant.
