Ted Lieu slam dunks Chris Christie

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Chris Christie failed as Governor of New Jersey, leaving office with a stunningly low approval rating. Christie also failed to revitalize his career by kissing up to Trump. Now Christie is somehow surviving as an ABC News political analyst, despite not having said a single thing of any value.

On Sunday morning, the always-lying Christie decided to dishonestly accuse President Biden of lying about his infrastructure deal: “President Biden needs to level with the American people about the fact that his “infrastructure” package is a $2.25 trillion liberal wish list with only about 25% being spent on traditional infrastructure like roads, bridges, tunnels and rails. Be honest with us Mr. President.”

Congressman Ted Lieu was having none of it: “Dear Chris Christie: What are you talking about? This plan was always about more than infrastructure. It’s about jobs. That’s why it’s called the American Jobs Plan. There are funds for workforce training, elder care & research & development. Lots and lots and lots of jobs. Get it?”

Frankly, we think Chris Christie – best known for his Bridgegate scandal – is the last person who should be lecturing anyone about infrastructure.
