Ted Lieu is right
Washington DC is currently an occupied military fortress, which is a shame, but it’s necessary under the circumstances. This is all because Donald Trump spent four years inciting the very worst people in America to behave as poorly as possible, and he ramped up his incitement significantly in his final days.
The thing is, Trump could still make most of this go away simply by opening his mouth and saying the right thing. Congressman Ted Lieu is right:
