Ted Cruz isn’t having a very good day

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Republican Senator Ted Cruz had the nerve to show up to the Capitol today for President Joe Biden’s inauguration, which was wildly inappropriate considering Cruz led the charge in inciting a domestic terrorist attack against that same building just two weeks ago.

Ted Cruz behaved himself during the inauguration, and in fact he seems intent on trying to normalize himself. During the ceremonies, Cruz tweeted things like “Lady Gaga singing the national anthem at the Biden Inauguration” and “Biden takes the oath. May God bless the United States of America.”

The trouble for Ted Cruz: he received thousands (and in some cases tens of thousands) of negative replies on every one of these tweets, often ending with an upside down ratio of likes to replies. It’s clear that no one is about to let Cruz forget that he incited domestic terrorism. Today was a reminder of that.
