Ted Cruz is losing his mind in real time

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Ted Cruz is losing his mind in real time. The Texas senator is understandably feeling the pressure as the election draws near, and he sees his chances for reelection diminishing. Meanwhile, polls show good news for his challenger, Colin Allred. These polls show that Cruz’s support is plunging downward faster than the speed of light.

Meanwhile, support is GROWING for Allred. This is particularly good news because it shows that Allred hasn’t peaked yet. He hasn’t hit his ceiling even as Cruz has flatlined, going down, down, and down, hopefully into the trash heap of history.

In San Antonio, Allred’s numbers are continuing to rise. In that city alone, a poll from UTSA shows that Allred is winning and winning big. There also seems to be unusually high turnout in Democratic districts. The high turnout in Democratic districts across the Lone Star State could be a game-changer for Allred. This surge in support could really give a shot of adrenaline to a campaign that is already doing very well.

A new political era in Texas? While Cruz’s current situation may seem dire, it’s important to remember that nothing is set in stone. He may still win. The political landscape is constantly shifting, BUT — and it is a BIG but — there’s no denying that Texas is now a battleground state.

Cruz, the Cancun superfan, the king of inaction, is undoubtedly feeling the pressure, with few polls showing him ahead by any significant margin. His anguish is palpable.
