Ted Cruz gets lambasted after deranged “American Taliban” meltdown

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

As Americans of various races, ethnicities, religions and backgrounds continue to come together in the name of equality, the worst of politicians aren’t sure what to do with themselves. Donald Trump is now accusing peaceful protesters of being domestic terrorists. Ted Cruz is taking things a step further.

Protesters in Minneapolis took down a statue of genocidal maniac Christopher Columbus, a move that the government should have made a long time ago. But Ted Cruz didn’t like the sight of progress, tweeting that the protesters were “American Taliban.” Well okay then.

So many people pushed back against Ted Cruz’s bizarre meltdown, the phrase “American Taliban” immediately began trending on Twitter – and suffice it to say that just about no one was on his side. Divisive grifters like Trump and Cruz can only pull of their con games if they can turn large numbers of Americans against each other. Nothing scares them more than seeing most Americans coming together.
