Ted Cruz gets destroyed

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

There is so much to love about the glittering land of magic called Twitter. We have tweeters. We have GIFs. We have important trending topics. We have — Ted Cruz. Ted Cruz — the Twitter gift that keeps on giving.

Before I get into the weeds of this story, I have a question Does Rafael do ANY work? His Twitter feed always seems to be on fast-forward with moronic tweets being sent out every few seconds, it seems. And Cruz’s Twitter page himself is a live-wire that keeps on exploding with utter foolishness. I do not think I have ever seen anything like it. On Easter weekend, Cruz tweeted this: “He is not here. For he is risen!” Matthew 28:16

What a nice little tweet. The thing is, many appeared to not take it seriously. Ted Cruz comes off as insincere when it comes to religion, being that his whole persona is that of a detestable racist clown. So in the blink of an eye, the tweet went viral. And “Cancun” started to trend.

“He’s in Cancun!” That was the joyous cry from Twitter users who never, it appears, miss a chance to crush the foul creature that is Rafael verbally.

“Criz is quoting scripture — hilarious.”

“How’s the weather in Mexico?”

“Ted pretending to have a soul again.”

“He’s fled to Cancun again.”

Cancun, Cancun, Cancun. Will Rafael ever live that down? I doubt it. Perhaps he should stop tweeting while the stopping’s good. But since this is Rafael we’re talking about, I doubt he will. After all, it isn’t like Rafael has ever made a good decision. And I doubt he will this week either.
