Ted Cruz trying to align himself with Colin Powell is hilarious considering Colin Powell quit the Republican Party because of people like Ted Cruz. Has anyone in politics ever been so oblivious on such a basic level?

– One thing we’ve seen with 100% consistency: whenever Trump’s proteges try behaving just like him, it never works out for them. Someone should tell Josh Hawley that. Better yet, don’t tell him, and just let him continue self destructing.

– Trump’s newly hired impeachment lawyer is now complaining that he didn’t have enough time to look at the evidence. This is a case study in how not to do things.

– Trump will go down as the only person to ever try the impeachment defense of arguing that Madonna isn’t perfect either.

– Trump’s lawyers are acting like they already know they’re not getting paid.
