Taco Trump just did it again
Donald Trump has done it again — said something so utterly and astonishingly stupid that it left many people stunned. This is becoming a regular occurrence. On Truth Social, the place spoiled orange traitors go to wail, Trump declared that blocking his tariffs would swiftly bring about “economic ruination.”
This is because, the orange one explained that it would allow other countries to: “hold us hostage” with retaliatory tariffs, thus causing irreparable damage to our global economy. Sometimes, I genuinely wonder if one were to ask Trump how much two plus two is, his answer would be “Ten.”
So Donald Trump, in typical melodramatic fashion, posted a hyperbolic “Truth,” saying, “This would mean the Economic ruination of the United States of America.” WRONG! Trump is, as always, wrong. Has the taco ever been RIGHT? That question demands a fast “no.”
This tariff situation is Donald Trump’s fault. He played with live wires, and they went off with deafening “booms.” That’s what happens when one f’c around and finds out. Imagine what good economic news we’d have had if Trump never issued his tariffs in the first place. Think of it like this: when Trump took over, the economy was humming, and the song it hummed was called “economic surplus.”
Everything, and I do mean everything, was fine. Biden left us with a mountain of jobs and an economy whose best days were still ahead. In a few short months, Trump undid ALL of that. He undid it because he didn’t know what he was doing.
Think of it like this: you have a car that hums along, driving OK or great, with nothing wrong with its transmission or engine, a large, rambling, comfortable car that passengers are pleased to sit in. Then, the owner exchanges it and gets — a lemon. That is EXACTLY what we did. We had a great President who was making his people comfortable and cozy, raising economic opportunities. Winds of change had come to and then bam! We bought the lemon.
And boy, it was a sour one! And that lemon puckered lots of mouths when its sourness was absorbed into the consciousness of the American people. In the blink of an insurrectionist’s eye — everything changed. So this preposterous statement on truth social only convinces THIS writer more than ever that Trump is insane.
I wish I had better news on the economy; It hurts. It hurts because seeing all these good people suffering is awful. Who’d want that? Only someone like Donald J Trump. We bought the Lemon. We sadly bought the lemon, and it broke down from the first day on the road.
