Surprise – things are looking up

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

You’ve heard the expression, “When it rains, it pours.” Well, this week, it poured alright. In fact, it was a downright hurricane of good news — for the Democrats.

President Biden’s poll numbers are inching upward again as Palmer Report said they would. The economy is looking good. The Democrats have made it clear that voting rights are a priority, and in that regard, there is movement where Joe Manchin is concerned.

Fox non-news has had any remaining respectability washed away. The DC Attorney General has sued the Proud Boys and Oath Keepers. Mark Meadows has been referred for contempt. Jim Jordan has lost what was left of his mind.

Nancy Pelosi is planning to stick around for a while. The January 6 insurrectionists are getting what they deserve. The January 6 committee has the goods and will not be shy about televising said goods come the beginning of 2022.

And in the meantime, little raindrops of information from the committee are leaking out just about every day now. Drip, drop.

And the GOP? The GOP is more of the same old. They’re angry (because we’re winning.) They’re squealing like pigs. They’re imploding as we all watch with righteous joy. So, how does it feel to win? Because this week will be remembered as the week, the GOP fought the hurricane and lost big time.
