Supreme Court unanimously rules against Donald Trump

The current iteration of the United States Supreme Court is as inconsistent as it is unhinged. For every two corrupt and evil rulings, you can expect one perfectly reasonable ruling. It makes no sense, but nothing about this court does. In any case, the Supreme Court just ruled unanimously against Donald Trump on something that’s very important to him.

The US Supreme Court just ruled 9-0 that the Trump regime must bring Maryland resident Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia back to the United States after he was forcibly shipped to El Salvador by mistake. More to the point, the Supreme Court is saying the Trump regime must “facilitate” the man’s return, which pretty clearly means that Trump will have to use the power of the presidency to lean on the government of El Salvador to turn the guy over whether it wants to or not.

Trump can try ignoring this order. But that would be a good way for him to lose his next five Supreme Court rulings, if you know what I mean. John Roberts is making it as clear as ever that he sees himself as a power broker, and if Trump wants a chance at winning future rulings, he’d better give Roberts what he wants when he demands it.

So we’ll see what happens. Hopefully Mr. Garcia is still alive and well and will be returned to Maryland shortly. And hopefully the media will continue to give proper coverage to the sheer lawlessness that the Trump regime displayed by kidnapping this man and dumping him in a cage in another country. If anything has happened to Mr. Garcia, a strong legal case could be made that Trump regime members are guilty of homicide-adjacent crimes.
