Donald Trump cabinet member is about to get hauled in with a subpoena

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

American voters gave control of the House of Representatives to the Democratic Party in the midterm elections, and the consequences are still cascading. Donald Trump’s government shutdown doesn’t prevent the House committees from being able to do their jobs, and that means one of Trump’s most corrupt cabinet members is about to get hauled in to testify by force.

Donald Trump’s Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar is simply refusing to show up and testify before the House Energy and Commerce Committee, because he and the Trump regime don’t want to have to answer questions about the decision to kidnap immigrant children and lock them in cages inside concentration camps. Two children have already died, and thousands of families are being destroyed, by the plainly illegal and Hitler-inspired camps. But Azar is about to get his comeuppance.

We’re in a new reality where Donald Trump’s criminal scandals are going to be properly investigated and exposed by the House, and when his co-conspirators decide they don’t want to be interrogated about these crimes, they’ll be hauled in with a subpoena. If they ignore the subpoena, they’ll be arrested and held in contempt of Congress, and then a federal judge can sort it out.

This is of course just one instance of House Democrats hauling in Donald Trump’s people to answer for the crimes they’ve helped Trump commit. The House Judiciary Committee is hauling in illegitimate Acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker, while the House Intelligence Committee says its first subpoena target is Donald Trump Jr.
