Donald Trump’s worst day yet leaves him stunned into public silence and bizarre behavior behind the scenes

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Listen carefully. What you’re hearing right now is the glaring silence from Donald Trump’s Twitter account. He’s having one of the worst days of his life to date, yet it’s been fifteen hours since he’s ranted about anything. He still hasn’t publicly addressed the Michael Cohen prison sentence, or the David Pecker non-prosecution deal, or the revelation that one of his kids is about to get popped.

Donald Trump simply doesn’t seem to have anything to say right now. So is he too busy expertly plotting his legal defense to bother tweeting, or is he simply too stunned by what’s happened? Evidence spells out that it’s the latter. This morning he reportedly refused to get out of bed. Yesterday he had a tantrum and began throwing things. Trump is both enraged and depressed at the same time. So what now?

By morning, Trump may decide to explode on Twitter. He’s publicly attacked Michael Cohen in the past. But he seems afraid of the National Enquirer’s David Pecker, who has spent decades literally owning Trump’s ugliest secrets. And he’s got to be reeling from the fact that Trump Organization CFO Allen Weisselberg has truly sold him out every bit as much as expected back when it was first revealed that Weisselberg had been given immunity.

We still don’t know if the “Executive-2” implicated in the SDNY filing is Donald Trump Jr, Eric Trump, or Ivanka Trump. But it sure looks like SDNY is gearing up to indict and arrest that person. Once one of Trump’s kids is in handcuffs, we’ll see if he springs back to life in a rage of self destruction, or collapses in a puddle of self pity and resigns. But for now, Trump is simply stunned into silence by what’s just happened to him.
