This is a strange strategy for Donald Trump

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Donald Trump continues to believe, or at least his posture is, that the coronavirus is merely a political tool designed to harm him in the upcoming election. It is a strange strategy for sure, with few if any buying his bull. On Wednesday, Trump tweeted:

“Covid, Covid, Covid is the unified chant of the Fake News Lamestream Media. They will talk about nothing else until November 4th., when the Election will be (hopefully!) over. Then the talk will be how low the death rate is, plenty of hospital rooms, & many tests of young people.”

He keeps showing that he does not care about any of us in the United States, regardless of whether they support him not. He showed that against on Tuesday night. After bussing attendees to his Omaha rally, Trump took off on Air Force One and went home, while hundreds or more of his supporters were left to figure out how to navigate back to their cars in the cold, with some ending up hospitalized.

The pandemic is not going away. In the past week, we had around 500,000 new positive cases, a record for seven days since the pandemic began. We need to make it clear on November 3 that Trump is fired. He’s failed on many fronts, but as important as anything else, more than 200,000 of our fellow Americans are no longer with us in this great nation.
