Strange new twist for final holdout witness against Roger Stone

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

As far as anyone knows, there are only two witnesses who still have yet to testify against Roger Stone before Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s grand jury. One of them, Jerome Corsi, appears to be on track to imminently testify. The other, Andrew Miller, has made such a point of holding out, he’s been held in contempt of court by a judge. But today is his day of reckoning, and let’s just say that it’s taking a strange twist.

Andrew Miller is appealing his contempt of court order, and he was originally given until this past Friday to make his official filing. His lawyer then asked for a delay until today. But late tonight, the lawyer filed for another extension until tomorrow, citing – incredibly – “serious problems with his version of Word that resulted in documents not being able to be edited and saved properly.” No, really.

Computer glitches happen to everyone from time to time. But this raises the question of why Miller’s legal team has needed so much extra time to begin with. Was he having MS Word glitches last week when he asked for the delay from Friday until Monday? If so, couldn’t he have just used a different word processor or a different computer? If Word wasn’t his excuse last week, then what was the first delay all about?

We have a feeling the judge will be asking some tough questions about whether this might all be one big stall tactic aimed at further delaying Andrew Miller’s seemingly inevitable testimony. Another final piece of the Roger Stone puzzle, Randy Credico, testified on Friday and then discussed it publicly today. Once the Corsi testimony takes place and the Miller matter is resolved, it appears Robert Mueller will be ready to indict Stone. Miller’s ongoing delays may be the only thing standing in the way of Stone’s arrest.
