Stormy Daniels is selling out Donald Trump after all
Donald Trump paid adult film actress Stormy Daniels $130,000 to keep quiet about their affair, but now the payoff has become arguably even more scandalous than the affair itself. Trump appears to have used campaign funds to make the payoff, which would be a crime. Yesterday Trump’s attorney Michael Cohen tried to get Trump off the hook by taking the blame. But it turns out he’s made things much worse, and now Daniels has had enough of the antics.
Cohen claimed that he made the six figure payout to Daniels out of his own pocket, and that Trump didn’t reimburse him and wasn’t involved. Of course no one believes this claim. Some legal experts have pointed out that Cohen was confessing to a crime of his own, as attorneys aren’t allowed to do that for their clients. Either way, Daniels now says that Cohen just violated the entire nondisclosure agreement, so we all know what comes next.
Stormy Daniels is preparing to sell the story of her affair with Donald Trump to the highest bidder, according to a scoop from popular entertainment news site The Blast (link). Daniels was on the verge of selling her story to the media during the election, when Trump paid her not to sell it. What stands out here is that Trump, despite having been caught in numerous consensual affairs and nonconsensual sexual assaults over the years, has decided he really doesn’t want this story coming out. There’s a reason for that.
Is Daniels about to embarrass Trump by revealing negative details about his sexual prowess? There has to be a reason why keeping this particular story silent was worth $130,000 to him, even as he hasn’t seemed to care about so many other stories of his extramarital exploits becoming public. We have a feeling that the Trump-Daniels affair is far uglier than what we know thus far. In any case, she’s ready to spill the beans.
