Stop worrying about Bill Barr

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

– It’s not a coincidence that Bill Barr sat on his butt and did nothing until Trump started firing people on Monday, and then a few hours later Barr suddenly announced a probe into the election. Barr simply didn’t want to be the next to get fired. As has tended to be the case over the past several months, Barr is doing the bare minimum to sate Trump – and this new “probe” isn’t going anywhere. It’ll wrap up as quietly as Barr’s last several imaginary probes did.

– The more l dig into it, the more these House and Senate results don’t make sense, based on not just polls but also demographics. Some of these districts are almost demographically incapable of voting the way that they did. Makes me think the pandemic, post office, etc, really did have a big impact. This suggests Biden’s win over Trump was even bigger than what we’ve seen.

– Can’t wait until Rudy Giuliani has his next press conference at the Days Inn Jail. Get it: days in jail? Okay I won’t quit my day job. Rudy is going to jail.

– Tweet of the day, from @waltb31: “I don’t understand why the media pundits keep pushing the narrative that Donald Trump is going to have some influence after January 20, 2021. I suspect the Manhattan DA, New York State AG and SDNY would beg to differ. Not to mention the new AG.”
