Stock market plummets overnight after Donald Trump tests positive for coronavirus

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

At 12:54am eastern time on Friday, Donald Trump announced on Twitter that he and Melania Trump have both tested positive for coronavirus. Melania has since claimed that she and Donald are both feeling fine, but symptoms could still set in. Considering that Donald Trump is 74 years old, morbidly obese, and in poor overall health, this is a big deal.

Accordingly, the uncertainty and instability have prompted investors to go running for the exits. The Dow Futures have plummeted more than five hundred points in the hour since the news about Donald Trump was announced. The stock markets in Asia are also dropping.

Donald Trump’s illegitimate and deranged presidency was already an unstable mess. Now that Trump has been infected with a virus that could make him too ill to continue in the job or even kill him, we’re looking at even more instability.
