Steve Bannon is falling to pieces

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

If there is one misconception going on in politics right now, it is the pathetic case of Steve Bannon. So many seem to be worried about him — especially after his crazed declaration that he intends to take over the world — or at least America’s elections. He is all over the place lately.

So many fear him. Many think he is a complex riddle of a man who is to be simultaneously despised and feared. I call bullshit. The truth is Bannon’s no riddle. He’s a joke — a sad sack of a person.

He’s the guy alone in the dimly lit bar, on a stool picking fights with bar-goers and telling anybody who will listen about how awful his life is. He isn’t much different than Trump in that regard — just a shabbier, more scruffy version of Trump.

And like Trump, Bannon has nothing, is nothing, and will never be anything. What we have with Bannon is a sullen and defiant loser wrapped up in delusions of grandeur, seeking any morsel of attention he can possibly get.

He is to be looked upon with disgust, yes, but not fear. Because at the end of the day, Bannon will go down in history as just another talentless Trump sycophant, with his hand out waiting for adoration that will never come his way.
