The man sat in his “war room,” smoke billowing from his ears as he did what he always does: complain. How dare they, Steve Bannon raged. This is a story about angry people and how they cope when they do not get what they want. They cope with more anger, of course.

You see, John Thune has been elected to lead the Senate after the turtle stepped down. This decision by GOP senators doesn’t sit well with Bannon, who really wanted Rick Scott to assume Senate leadership. Alas, the majority of Senators did not agree with this choice.

So now Bannon is doing what Bannon does best — complaining. “Victory is not ours.” Apparently, victory for Bannon means doing what he wants when he wants to whoever he wants.

Steve Bannon is the ultimate injustice collector. This writer has read a lot about injustice collectors. They’re scabs of society, taking, taking, taking, like hungry Piranhas, never getting enough, always desiring more.

That way, they can continue to lash out at people, which is an injustice collector’s specialty, in case you didn’t know. Screaming and carrying on are deeply ingrained in injustice collectors, who revel in the haughtiness of the constantly wronged.

On his War Room podcast, Bannon whined, shimmied, screeched, ranted, and yelled about how this proves that victory is not theirs. Who is “theirs?” I imagine it is all the little ants who regularly slither over to Steve’s war room to have tea and crumpets with him and listen to the insane rantings of whatever this lunatic is angry about today.

The MAGA crowd had wanted Scott, likely because Scott is the worst of the backstabbing, slick Republicans. Scott is also an asshole, so it stands to reason that MAGA would claim him as their own, embracing him with gusto. But now Bannon is angry! And when Bannon gets angry, his dutiful followers are also angry.

Honestly, this whole group of a motley crew, this entire group of unwashed public idiots, may just devour each other before Trump even takes the oath of office. They’re all so angry all the time that they’ll inevitably all destroy each other. That’s one battle this writer is looking forward to.
