Steve Bannon has officially entered the twilight zone. It had to happen. And it was always going to come to this. Bannon is obviously not a well man, but his latest words are bonkers even by Steve Bannon standards.

Speaking to attendees of a far-right organization called “Turning Point,” Bannon made a startling (and insane) claim. Bannon explained that President Biden’s cancer moonshot is, in reality, a deep state cover to “create genetically engineered Humans 2.0.” Paging the cuckoo’s nest. You might have a new patient coming soon.

Bannon told people that Biden is not REALLY trying to cure cancer. What he is doing, Bannon explained, is funding science fiction turned reality. “This is the biggest inflection point in human history,” Bannon exclaimed.

Bannon said that “they” want to achieve immortality. They’re trying to replace Homo Sapiens, says Bannon. I must admit to a few chuckles from this story. I know it isn’t funny. It’s sick, demented and macabre. But the fact is Bannon might just believe it. I wonder if the man knows when reality ends and fantasy begins, quite frankly.

Bannon has also said that the day he was arrested was one of his life’s best days, proving that he has learned nothing from his past mistakes.

Bannon descended further into paranoia and said nobody had heard of these experiments because they didn’t want anybody to know about them. And Bannon says this is all being done under the guise of curing cancer.

Bannon has officially entered the twilight zone. As you know, that is not a place many want to go to. In Bannon’s case, perhaps when he gets to prison, he can entertain his cellmates with these types of stories.
