Stephen Miller tests positive for coronavirus as the walls cave in on Donald Trump

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Just now it was announced that Donald Trump White House senior adviser and avowed racist Stephen Miller has tested positive for coronavirus today, after having tested negative for the previous several days. This news comes at the worst possible time for Trump, for a few reasons.

First, this means that every member of Trump’s debate prep team now has coronavirus, with the exceptions of Rudy Giuliani (who has a bad cough) and Jason Miller. This further cements the narrative that Trump recklessly exposed all of these people during maskless prep meetings.

This also means that yet another Trump operative is out of commission with just a few weeks to go before the election. Trump’s campaign manager Bill Stepien, top policy adviser Stephen Miller, top spin artist Kayleigh McEnany, debate adviser Chris Christie, and other key people are now off the table to varying degrees. Giuliani appears to be too ill to be of much use. Bill Barr went into quarantine yesterday, suggesting he’s lying about continuing to test negative.

Finally, this raises further questions about why this particular White House coronavirus outbreak is so much more potent and contagious than the previous White House outbreaks. Stephen Miller’s wife had coronavirus several weeks ago, but he didn’t catch it from her, and the outbreak never really spread. But now Miller has indeed caught the virus, suggesting that no one in Trump’s orbit may be safe from the current outbreak.
