Stephen Miller is in big trouble

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

One by one, Donald Trump’s White House senior advisers have found their way out the door. Many of them have resigned in one controversy or scandal or another. Others have been fired after feuding with each other or getting caught committing crimes. At this point only a handful of Trump’s senior advisers remain. One of them is Stephen Miller, the guy with the giant forehead who says racist and sexist things every chance he gets – and now he’s in big trouble.

The federal government has been pointlessly shut down because each time legislators hammered out a budget deal with Trump, his own advisers then talked him out of the deal. Chief of Staff John Kelly and his Chief of Racism Stephen Miller, two of the few advisers Trump has left, appear to be the ones steering Trump away from cutting any budget deal. They’re both xenophobic racists, and they both keep talking him out of deals that offer any fairness to non-white immigrants. But it’s Miller who’s about to get shown the door.

Republican Senator Lindsey Graham, who was directly involved in some of the failed budget negotiations with Trump, just tweeted this: “President Trump has expressed a desire to have border security with compassion on immigration. General Kelly is tough but reasonable. Some other staff in the White House hold extreme and unrealistic views. They hold us back from getting a solution.” This is a clear shot at Stephen Miller. Graham knows that he can’t force Kelly out, so he’s aiming for Miller instead, under the apparent belief that negotiations might be possible with Miller out of the picture.

So now we have one of the most influential Republicans in the Senate publicly asserting that Stephen Miller’s head on a platter must be a condition of the government shutdown negotiations. We’ve seen Kelly routinely throw his fellow racists like Steve Bannon and Sebastian Gorka out the door because they had become too big of a distraction. Graham and his faction of the GOP are about to force Kelly to throw Miller out the door as well. If Donald Trump didn’t stop the other firings, he won’t stop this one either. Stephen Miller is in trouble.
