Speaker Nancy Pelosi saddles up

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

House majority speaker and American warrior Nancy Pelosi will be staying in her current role through the 2022 midterms. Per CNN, she may even stay on for longer. This is excellent news. Pelosi is, in my opinion, one in a million. I am not sure people realize just how demanding the role of majority speaker can be. It is not a role for the faint of heart. And frankly, I’ve never seen anybody in this role do a better job.

Of course, this news is bound to make non-speaker Kevin McCarthy wild-eyed with disappointment which is one more reason we can ALL celebrate. Pelosi was made for this role. She knows how to fundraise, she can keep her caucus in line, and she has an uncanny knack for almost always doing the exact right thing at the perfect time.

The warrior is planning to file the necessary paperwork for her run, and many say she is mulling over the possibility of staying even beyond the midterms. Pelosi has raised nearly $1 billion in funds and plans to continue raising even more. I personally hope she does stay on. Nancy Pelosi has more energy in one finger than most have in their whole bodies. She never seems to tire, and her deep love of the job shines through.
