Donald Trump and Senate Republicans can’t seem to make up their minds what their position is on a stimulus bill. Trump keeps contradicting himself on the matter. Now Mitch McConnell is suddenly offering a very weak stimulus bill that’s nowhere close to what the nation needs.

Now Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi is laying down the law. She appeared on CNN and explained to Wolf Blitzer why she’s not willing to settle for anything less than a real stimulus package. She also spelled out the American values that the Democrats are fighting for:

Speaker Pelosi also tweeted this: “If Republicans focused their energy for taking health care away from millions and ending protections for preexisting conditions into a science-based, strategic national plan to stop the coronavirus, there’d be fewer empty chairs at America’s kitchen tables.”
