Sound the alarm

The American people are getting more and more repulsed by the top one percent, they are becoming more disgusted with the vulgar and ostentatious displays of privilege being seen from these people. We need to talk about the children. We need to talk about the children because they are among the people who could and will be hurt if this monstrous Republican bill goes forward.

Increasingly, articles are being published that discuss this subject. You see, there are too many hungry children in this country to count. It is one of our dirty little non-secrets. And it is a travesty. NO PERSON should be living in poverty in America.

But this bill could make life even harder for these children as well as their families. Rural Hospitals, in particular, are becoming increasingly alarmed and speaking out about it. Some of these hospitals say that if this bill passes, they may have to reduce or eliminate essential services. Or they might have to close their doors entirely.

This bill has the potential to devastate rural communities. Ironically, this bill would hurt so many red states, showing everyone that Trump — and for that matter, any Republican who does not speak out against this bill or who votes for it — does not give a damn about their constituents.

The bill would brutally cut federal spending on Medicaid, as Republicans well know, which is why they’re in flight mode, with most of them ignoring town halls and spurning the cries of their voters. Carrie Lutz is the CEO of Holton Community Hospital in Kansas. It serves farmers and their families. “We can’t sustain serving our community the way we are with additional cuts,” Lutz said.

Everywhere, people are speaking out. The GOP does not appear to be listening to them. Certainly, Mike Johnson doesn’t, as he amuses himself by playing politics with the lives of children. Analysts have said the bill will reduce income for the already poor, but Trump and his wealthy donor friends would see their incomes skyrocket. That’s what it’s all about for Republicans — feeding the hand that feeds THEM.
