Sorry Donald Trump, it’s not going to work
Donald Trump appears unwilling and unable to get over Canada’s refusal to put itself up for sale — to him. So, in true Trump fashion, what he’s doing now appears to be “punishing” Canada.” In a news release on Thursday evening, the town of Stanstead located in Canada, said that the Musk and Trump administration had closed down access to the historic library located on the border between Canada and the United States.
“Black Tape.” The traitor’s administration has put “black tape” on the floor to mark the border between the two countries and has closed off access, according to the news release, for Canadians to access this library.
There is a Canadian entrance to this library, and Canada has used it for decades to enter the library. “Unilateral decision.” The news release claims this was a “unilateral decision” made by our administration. The library is located on the Quebec-Vermont.
This building has been easily accessed by BOTH countries up till now. It was built in 1904 and has been declared a “heritage site.” The agreement to share the library has existed for over a century. Erasing history are you, Mr. Musk, and Mr. Trump? Well, that won’t do! You are a petty and vindictive man.
Put up all the black tape that you want, but it will not allow you to claim Canada. It stings doesn’t it? It hurts to covet something that can never EVER be yours. We understand. We too covet — we covet a leader who knows what the heck he’s doing.
What these people are doing is not unlike what an abuser does to a battered wife. Canada wants her independence. Trump and Musk do not want her to have that. So they push and push and poke and they prod, goading Canada, pushing Canada, trying to conquer Canada.
But she will never BE conquered. No mater what Trump and Musk do and how they do it, they have found someone who will not have them. They have found someone who quietly — or not so quietly — is beginning to loath them.
