Something weird is going on with Donald Trump’s announcement of JD Vance as his running mate

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. Donald Trump picked JD Vance as his 2024 running mate today, which isn’t a surprise. Vance is white enough to suit Trump’s racist nature. Vance is bumbling enough to suit Trump’s narcissism. And as for Vance’s previous comparison of Trump to Hitler, it’s a reminder that Trump is so deep into dementia, he doesn’t appear to remember anything that’s happened. But still, there was something very weird about the whole thing.

The bottom line: where’s Trump? Seriously, where is he? Earlier today we brought you the story of how Trump’s campaign has gone into lockdown mode and threatened to fire anyone who even so much as talks to a reporter. So Trump is in hiding, and his people are desperately trying to keep a lid on whatever it is they’re trying to keep a lid on, and now Trump didn’t even surface to make his VP announcement.

It’s enough to really make you wonder what’s going on. Trump was injured in a shooting just three days ago, so what’s the deal? Was he more severely injured than initially reported? Why is he passing up the opportunity to participate in his own VP announcement, which would have made it a bigger deal? Where is Trump, and what is he hiding? Donate $25 to Palmer Report
