Something has Mitch McConnell rattled

Something has happened. Something has happened that’s making Republican Senators most nervous. Reportedly, some are nervous about several of Donald Trump‘s nominees getting confirmed. This is because of an extremely high-profile Republican senator. His behavior is bewildering Republicans, and making them dance the dance of anxiety. That Senator is Mitch McConnell.
Mitch McConnell has set off fear among some Republicans by pointedly remarking that he will be happy to confirm the Trump nominees who have the relevant experience necessary to do their jobs.
This was most definitely a warning bell for Republicans. This was no hardy endorsement and many Republicans fear that he could imperil the confirmations of certain nominees, such as Pete Hegseth and Tulsi Gabbard.
Has the turtle turned? We really don’t know what McConnell is going to do yet, but there are a few things of note here. First of all, I had a feeling in the back of my mind that the turtle might post something like this.
Mitch McConnell has nothing to lose if he goes against Trump. He’s not expected to run again, he’s no longer leading the Senate, and the last and most important thing is that he hates Donald Trump’s guts. I think that’s pretty evident. You only have to watch the body language between the two of them for five seconds to determine that.
Now, Mitch McConnell is not exactly known for acting courageously, so he could still change his mind and vote to confirm all of the nominees. What happens if it doesn’t? Others may follow and take their lead from him. McConnell is still very popular in the Senate. He has quite a strong influence, much as Donald Trump might wish it to be otherwise.
The bottom line is that Donald Trump has nominated many people who are not fit for the positions they’ve been nominated for. If these nominees are all confirmed, it will be the most incompetent administration ever, a bunch of quacking ducks, incompetence all over, as these people will likely screw up whatever it is they are trying to do.
So, we will have to watch McConnell very closely, but I’m telling you right now. Many senators are whispering about this fear, which has taken over. McConnell has long reviled Donald Trump and is likely feeling very resentful. He could, with an imperial, of his head cause absolute chaos in the process. So will Mitch become the cackling clown that dances laughingly on Donald Trump’s hopes and dreams? Stand by to see if he does.
