Someone just hacked Donald Trump’s campaign website

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Donald Trump and his 2016 campaign criminally conspired with international hackers to try to alter the outcome of the 2016 election by targeting the DNC, so they’re certainly familiar with the concept. But now the tables have been turned, as someone has just successfully hacked Donald Trump’s campaign website.

Although it’s since been restored, the website donaldjtrump.com looked like this for several minutes this evening:

We’re not sure why a hacker would go to all the trouble of breaking into Donald Trump’s website just to post an incoherent message like “the world has had enough of the fake news spreaded daily” by Trump. But it does suggest that this wasn’t exactly a sophisticated operation, which in turn raises questions about just how insecure Trump’s campaign website might be.

We certainly don’t condone this kind of thing. Hackers have no place in elections, and whoever did this is likely looking at prison time. Don’t do this kind of thing. But wow is Donald Trump ever running a primitive operation over there.
